Reserves, 'A', Veterans and Ladies all knocked out of cups, but both Sunday sides win in League

Bungay Reserves lost 2-3 away to Sheringham Reserves in the League Cup. Bungay 'A' were unlucky in going out of the Primary Cup 4-2 on penalties at Saxmundham, after they had drawn 2-2 aet. The Veterans lost 2-3 aet at Spexhall in their County Cup, and the Ladies 1st Team lost to Aylsham for the third time this season, 0-2 away in their League Cup - match report here.
There was better news for the Sunday men's sides - the Sunday 1st Team got their first win of the season, 6-5 away to Bell In (with Dom Mirner getting four of the goals), and the Sunday Reserves continued their 100% start to the season with a 4-2 home win against Vale Longo, with Matt James getting a hat-trick.

Club social evening 7th November

The annual Saturday night club adults social evening is on 7th November this season. There will be darts and pool competitions which will cost a mere £2 each to enter. It is a 6.30pm start and please see your team manager to enter and order your food for the evening. Open to all club members, including men, ladies, spectators, and also youth team parents

Training sessions start again

Training sessions will be on Wednesday only now for rest of the season.

Bungay drawn at home in Suffolk Senior Cup

Bungay have been drawn at home to SIL side Grundisburgh in the 1st Round of the Suffolk Senior Cup - the tie will be played on Saturday October 17th.
In other Suffolk county cup draws, Bungay Reserves entertain Barham Athletic in the Junior Cup and Bungay Sunday 1st Team are at home to Martlesham OB in the Sunday Cup. The Ladies are away in the Women's Cup to Copleston - their 14th away draw in 16 cup ties in recent season (they are of course also away in their League Cup...)

Boys' Under 10s visit to Ipswich Academy

Well done to the boys' Under 10s, who had an enjoyable trip to Portman Road to play against Ipswich Town Academy last week - picture to follow. 

Mixed results for junior sides

The Under 15s boys won 5-4 away to Waveney Tigers to maintain their 100% start to the season. The Under 14 boys drew 2-2 away to Kirkley & Pakefield Warriors, but the Under 13 boys were beaten 0-10 away against Kirkley & Pakefield Wildcats, who play two divisions higher. The Under 12s Athletic drew 1-1 at Hemsby Hornets but the Unde 12s Black Dogs lost 0-10 at home to Bohemians Harriers. 

New Keeper required for Under 12s

New players required for U14s
