Bungay hit eight to go third

Bungay Town 8-0 Watton United
A second-half hat-trick from Ash Canham was the highlight as Bungay dominated vistors Watton at the Maltings on Saturday. Match report to follow.

Reserves win in Cup; 'A' beaten; Veterans and Under 18s win; Sunday side draw 4-4; Ladies beaten

Well done to the Reserves, who got their first win of the season, beating visitors Poringland Reserves 6-3 at the Maltings in the League Cup on Tuesday evening, with Matt James getting a hat-trick.
The Under 18s won 4-0 away at bottom side AFC Royals on Thursday evening.
The 'A' lost narrowly 3-4 at home against Waveney 'A'.
The Veterans beat AFC Hoxne 3-2 at the Maltings.
The Sunday side drew 4-4 with visitors AFC Norwich. The Ladies were beaten 1-3 at home by Wymondham Reserves.

Beccles away in Senior Cup!

In the draw for the 1st Round of the Suffolk Senior Cup, Bungay have been drawn away to local rivals Beccles Town, match to be played on Saturday October 20th.

Men's adult training

Pre-season training for the men's adult teams has now started and continues on Monday evenings from 7.15pm.

Girls football sessions start 25th April

Do you have a daughter aged between 5-11 who would love to have a go at playing football? Well now she can by coming along to our new SSE Wildcats sessions starting on Wednesday 25th April at the Maltings, 6-7pm. Contact Caroline Aldous on 07786721031.

The club are delighted that the Ladies side have gained new sponsors, and the team are now looking very smart in their jackets sponsored jointly by Travis Perkins - Beccles branch and Willow Builders of Ditchingham. See picture of the team in their new tops.

Club Secretary Mick Simpson wins Bezant Cup

The Club are delighted that Mick has been awarded the Bezant Cup, for the contribution to sport in Bungay. Click here to read more about the award, and see a picture of Mick with the Cup.

Three wins, two draws and three defeats for junior sides

The Under 16 boys won 5-2 away against Mutford and Wrentham Predators. The Under 15s lost 2-11 away to Gorleston Rangers Falcons, and the Under 14s lost 0-6 away to Corton Phoenix. The Under 13s beat Kirkley & Pakefield Vipers 4-1 at home, and the boys' Under 12s drew 0-0 away to Beccles Town Hornets.

The Under 14s Girls' Black Dogs drew 0-0 at home against Martham.
The Black Dogs are looking for more players - they train on Wednesday evenings, 6pm to 7.30pm - contact Kevin on 07584903090, or come along to a training session. Matches are on Saturday mornings.

The Under 12 girls' lost 2-5 at home against Gorleston Rangers Eagles. The Under 12s are looking for players - contact manager Craig Blogg on 07931260030. Training is on Thursdays, 6-7pm.
