Leiston St Margarets 0-2 Bungay Town 

Goals from Sonny Arterton and Dom Mirner saw Bungay make it through to the las 16 of the Senior Cup at Leiston on Saturday - match report to follow.

Reserves lose, other sides all win

Bungay Reserves lost 1-3 at home against top of the table Heacham. The 'A' kept up their unbeaten start with a 3-2 win away to Norton Reserves . Both Sunday sides won their County Cup ties - the  1st Team 3-0 at home against Kesgrave Kestrels and the Reserves 12-0  away at  Rattlesden. The Ladies recovered from a 1-3 half-time deficit to win 4-3 away at Gorleston.

Sponsorship for Girls and Ladies Teams

The club are delighted that the Ladies side have gained new sponsors, and the team are now looking very smart in their jackets sponsored jointly by Travis Perkins - Beccles branch and Willow Builders of Ditchingham. See picture of the team in their new tops.

Club to host Norwich City Under 19s

We are pleased to be hosting a series of Norwich City youth games this season, the first of which saw the Norwich Under 19 shadow squad draw 1-1 with their Watford counterparts.

Two wins for junior sides

The Under 16 Royals drew 3-3 away against Caister Roma, and the Under 16s lost 2-3 at home against Shrublands Juniors.
The boys' Under 13 Black Dogs lost 3-4 at home against Shrublands Juniors, but the Under 13s got their first win of the season, 6-2 away to Kirkley & Pakefield Wildcats.
The girls' Under 13s sides were both in League Cup action - the Black Dogs won 3-2 after extra time at home against Horsford, but the Under 13s were beaten 0-7 away at Thorpe United.

Training for Under 6s and 7s on Saturdays

Training for the new season for Under 6s and Under 7s continues on Saturdays at 10am at the Maltings. New players welcome from school Years 1 and 2.

July 100 Club winner drawn

The draw for July were made in the clubhouse after the Reserves' friendly on Saturday 29th, and the winner was: £50 David Baker (No.15).
