Bungay fell to their first league defeat since September as they just failed to pull off a great recovery act, pulling back a 1-4 deficit to 3-4 against promotion chasing Attleborough on Saturday  - click here for match report.

Sunday Reserves win County Cup

The Sunday Reserves beat CFC Bury in the Suffolk County Sunday Trophy Final played at Walsham le Willows. Goals from Matty James(2) and Stuart Beales helped them to a 3-2 win.

Around the Club: 'A' lose, Ladies 1st Team win, Sunday 1st Team & Ladies Reserves lose

Bungay 'A' team lost 1-4 away to Norton Reserves, and with one game left, look likely to finish in sixth place.
Sunday 1st Team are sure of promotion - their fourth in consecutive seasons - despite losing 3-4 away to Windmill Wanderers. One win from five games will be enough to secure the title. The Ladies 1st Team beat Fakenham 3-2 at home - click here for match report - and the Ladies Reserves lost 0-3 at home to top of the table Lynn Ladies. 

Junior round-up

With the girls' teams having finished their fixtures, four of the boys' teams played, but all were beaten:
The Under 13s lost their Shield Final at Emerald Park 1-3 after extra time against Bohemians. In the league, the Under 12s lost 0-4 away to Gorleston Rangers Ospreys, the Under 11s United 2-5 at home to Wavaney Panthers and the Under 11 Athletic completed their season with a 0-8 defeat away to Gorleston Rangers Hawks.

March Player of the Month - 2015

Kevin Riches was voted Player of the Month for March with Sam Olley in second spot. Remember these players are voted for by team mates and spectators after each match. If you would like to add your vote please see Tim Clarke in clubhouse after the match.

January and February 100 Club winners drawn

The draws for January and February were made in the Clubhouse after the Committee Meeting on Monday 23rd: the winners were Carol Elshof (No. 65) and Barry Gardiner (No. 37), who both win £50.

New Girls' teams looking for players

Bungay Town Girls have just started 2 new teams to complement the other girls teams they currently have, The U10's (school years 4-5) are training on a wed evening 5.30-6.30pm under Leah Shepherd and Inna Marx from the ladies team,and will start their league games early in November. The U12's (yrs6-7)will train on a Thurs evening under coach Charlotte Power 5.30-6.30pm, they will play friendly games shortly to build up numbers this season and start next season at U13's, any new players can just turn up or for info call Graham 07778 358464

Players required for junior teams

Calling all budding junior footballers - Bungay Town needs you! All of our junior teams are looking for players for next season - from Under 6 through to Under 16, boys and girls. Most teams train throughout the Summer, so you can join now, even though it is the end of the season. Contact the team manager for your age group or Secretary Mick Simpson on 07971168446.

Bungay Toddlers Football Class
