An outstanding second-half performance saw Bungay recover from conceding early to beat rivals Sprowston Athletic on Monday morning. With Scole losing, four points from the last two games will be enough for promotion.

Bungay reach League Cup Final after shootout drama

Bungay 3-3 Attleborough Town aet; won 4-3 on penalties
Bungay came from 3-0 down at half-time to level scores, then won a tense penalty shoot-out to clinch a place in the final, against Waveney on May 6th, 7.15pm KO, at Norfolk FA FDC at Bowthorpe. Click here for match report

Reserves win but then lose same match in Charity Cup!

Bungay Reserves beat Beccles Caxton 2-1 in the Bungay Charity Cup semi-final on Friday, only to then find that they had fielded an ineligible player, so Caxton go through to the Final on 2nd May (7.30pmKO), against either Spexhall or Norton.

Under 13s win Shield

Congratulations to the Boys' Under 13s, who clinched the club's first silverware of the season with a 3-1 win against Gorleston Rangers Eagles to win the League Shield at Emerald Park on Sunday.

Presentation night date for senior teams

The presentation night for the club's senior teams will now be held at the clubhouse on Saturday June 7th from 8pm. We have booked Funk Soul Brothers to provide the music so look forward to a great night. 

Bungay Ladies Challenge Cup

This year's cup continues this Wednesday evening (7pm KO) when Bungay Ladies take on Bohemians and Long Stratton in a round-robin group, with all 3 games being played on the same evening. The winners will go on to meet Wymondham in the Final next Wednesday 30th April.

Sports Association AGM date

The Annual General Meeting of the Bungay & District Sports Association will be held on Monday 12th May @ 7.30pm. All welcome. 

Under 18 Girls reach League Cup Final

Well done to the Under 18 Girls, who have reached their League Cup Final against Lowestoft Town on Saturday 3rd May at Scole, 10.30am KO.

Dates announced for Summer 5-a-sides

The dates for this year's 5 a side tournaments have been fixed: Sunday 29th June - Ladies and U11s, 13s, 14s, 15s & 18s GIrls. Sunday 6th July - U7s, 8s, 9s, 10s Boys. Sunday 13th July - U11s, 12s, 13s, 14s Boys. Please download tournament details and application form from these links. Note only £15 per team for early booking. Only £1 to park your car all day

Players required for junior teams

Calling all budding junior footballers - Bungay Town needs you! All of our junior teams are looking for players for next season - from Under 6 through to Under 16. Most teams train throughout the Summer, so you can join now, even though it is the end of the season. Contact the team manager for your age group or Secretary Mick Simpson on 07971168446.

Work on main pitch in planning stage

Bungay have been awarded a grant of up to £50,000 to level and regrade the main football pitch at the Maltings Meadow.  Current situation is that the design specification is being written, then out to tender, then back to Sport England for any extra cash required. Click the link for more details.

Sponsorship for Girls and Ladies Teams

The club are delighted to announce that PJ LIveseys Builders, who are developing the old Maltings site opposite our ground - Waterside-Maltings - have agreed to sponsor the ladies and girls' teams in the club by providing them with smart new tracksuits. Bungay Toddlers Football Class
